The Steam Magic™ Styling Iron looks like a flat iron but works differently. On damp hair, its plates turn surface water into steam that surrounds each strand, shielding it from the heat. The hair then absorbs that vapour as it cools, so it comes out straight, soft and smooth instead of dry and stiff. - Works on towel-dried hair, so there is no need to blow-dry first - Rib-structured plates straighten with a gentle press and minimal contact - Silicone layers over the plate housings protect hands and scalp - Heats to 230°C (450°F) in about 30 seconds, with an adjustable dial - 32 mm (1¼″) plates, 360° swivel salon-length cord, auto shut-off after 1 hour - Also works on dry hair, like a regular flat iron Rated 125 V AC, 60 Hz.
